About Me
My journey in tech started at the hardware level. With a background as a computer maintenance technician and 16 years of experience in technical infrastructure, I have a deep understanding of how systems operate from the ground up.
Currently, I am pursuing my BSc in Software Engineering at the University of Glasgow. My technical focus is on modern full-stack development, specifically building robust applications with the PERN stack and orchestrating deployments using Docker.
Beyond enterprise infrastructure, I believe in technology's power to build community. I volunteer as an IT Lead and digital literacy mentor, designing digital systems that help local organizations scale their impact and streamline their operations.
When I am away from the keyboard and terminal, you will likely find me in the workshop meticulously sourcing parts and building high-performance gravel bikes from the bare carbon frame up.
